TESTIMONIALS

Amersham School, Buckinghamshire

“The boxing scheme has been a highly successful addition to our extra-curricular offer in school. Ethan and Dan have worked hard to form quick relationships with our students which have led to highly successful sessions. Our students have learnt key skills which are transferrable to other sports and subjects around school. It has been wonderful to see the development in so many and in some cases the desire to take up boxing outside of school. We are incredibly grateful to the team for providing our students with these wonderful opportunities.”

Longdean School school, Hertfordshire

“Warriors Boxing Club have been delivering extra curricular clubs at Longdean funded through Opening Schools Facilities funding.  The club has been targeting KS3 pupils on one night and KS4 pupils on another night.  We introduced the clubs to give pupils an outlet for exam stress, and end of the day release of anxiety and emotion.  The coaches have been brilliant, and the pupils are really benefiting from this additional activity to our extra-curricular provision.”

Dacorum Education Support Centre, Hertfordshire

We were provided with an opportunity to work collaboratively with Warriors ABC.  The purpose was to re-engage females back into sport through a 6-week bespoke initiative. The sessions focused on developing a range of skills and attributes, including communication, resilience, collaborative working, self-esteem, confidence and physical fitness.  The sessions were incredibly fun and engaging.  The facilitators, Ethan and Laura were excellent at building positive relationships and ensuring that all the girls were motivated throughout.   Truly inspiring, we would recommend and hope to work with them again in the future..

Dr Challoner's Grammar School, Buckinghamshire

“Warriors ABC, supported through the Boxing Clever Scheme, has been an outstanding school boxing club.  There has been great interest from our students, and the structure and rigour that the training sessions offer as been very well received.  Ethan is knowledgable and personable, and has built up great relationships with the students who clearly respect and value his coaching and guidance.  There are lots of plans to build on this early success, and it is evident that many students are benefitting personally from their involvement with boxing and will take this into their futures beyond school.”

St. Albans & Hertsmere Women’s Refuge

“Hemel Warriors have been amazing at helping our vulnerable children and giving them a positive outlet for them to vent, exercise, and make friends. The children who have attended from the refuge have said they are really enjoying the boxing, they are so grateful for being selected to sign up, the coaches are all so nice and help them whenever they need it. They have noticed how friendly everyone is, and that members of the club always return, which shows how positive and great the club is overall. A massive thank you to all the staff that have made this happen, we are forever grateful.”

Grovehill Neighbourhood Association

“It was a pleasure to have Hemel Warriors ABC at the Grovehill youth centre. I have seen several HAPpy camps; the club and staff offered something different for local young people to experience during the summer break, I have no doubt local families appreciated that. I saw firsthand every young person having a lovely time learning new skills. It was such an exciting setting, Young people clearly enjoyed themselves in a safe and welcoming club – well done and thank you to you and your staff.”
